This is a great little book! A must-have if you’re an avid meal planner (or want to be one). Large enough to write comfortably, small enough to fit in my purse. I would love a spiral bound option.

This planner has everything I wanted - shopping list, breakfast and lunch notes, plus weekly planning for dinners. Only thing is I wish it were spiral-bound so I could keep it open easier.

I got this for Christmas 2017 and I started using it first of the year. I used to print menus every week but I would sometimes lose them. So when I saw this on Amazon I was very pleased. The book is made very well, well written. Only things I would change is add a sew in bookmark to it. Make it easier to keep open, a harder cover on the book so it does get bad creases.It fell apart almost by the end of the year. The back cover completely came off. The cover and pages curled in the front. But it didn’t completely fell apart so that’s a huge plus.

This makes meal planning so easy!!! The only thing that I have noticed is as soon as I opened the first page and started writing in it, the bonding started to come undone. That doesn’t really affect my opinion of it because it has made meal planning easy in my house, but is a bummer.

Love this book! It’s a good size, and the soft-touch cover feels really nice. It seems durable (I will update my review if that turns out to not be the case).Taking off 1 star because the book arrived a little damaged. The bottom right corner was smashed with some black smears on the cover and the first couple of pages. I was able to get the black off the cover and straighten it out good enough but you can still see in the picture where it was damaged. Not sure if this occurred during shipping or beforehand.

I have tried various forms of food planning and this is the best I’ve found. It’s compact size is perfect for carrying in my purse and the planner has room to write what is needed to plan meals and stop wasting fresh produce without overwhelming detail that normally has me throw in the towel as too time consuming. Each week has two pages that open flat so you can see the whole week at a glance. The left page has lined space for each day, Monday to Sunday. Starting on Monday works well for me as I normally meal plan over the weekend, a seemingly small benefit for a planner but it really does help having the whole week you are planning visible while planning and grocery shopping. The right page has lined sections for “Breakfast Ideas”, “Lunch Ideas” and “Shopping List”. I LOVE the “Ideas” sections as opposed to specific breakfast and lunch planning, books or apps that have specific breakfast and lunch plans are just too time consuming to plan whereas those that don’t address breakfast and lunch have left me clueless when I’m hungry in the morning or packing lunch. I use the “Ideas” sections to write in suggestions I’ve seen in cookbooks or on tv in the past week, items in the sale circulars that look good, leftovers put in the freezer last week, etc. The “Shopping List” section is a perfect size to write down items needed for recipes, weekly sale items, etc. All in all my perfect meal planner.

This book want quite what I had hoped. It doesn't have a spot to create a menu for Dinner, just Lunch and Breakfast but if you want an affordable menu creation book this one will work for you.

Purchased based on recommendation from a blog. It works. My one negative is it needs to have a spiral spline rather than glued. The book is hard to keep open when shopping.
