I bought this book for s friend. I hope it helps her on her journey through the breast cancer treatments. There is one problem that has nothing to do with the author, it is the publishers problem. It goes from page 112 to page 97. Pages 97-112 are than repeated and starts again at page 129. Pages 113-128 are missing 😮😕
This is an amazing book. It is a must read for people currently battling any kind of cancer. I think it also would be extremely helpful for family or friends of someone who is dealing with the big C. I am an ovarian cancer survivor and wish I had all the wonderful tips that Caitlin offers in her guide. She handles a very difficult subject with humor and grace. I highly recommend this well written, informative and witty perspective on a subject that is all to common in our world today.
This book was wonderful for a friend dealing with cancer. Had some wonderful tips as well as suggestions for products to purchase during the various stages of treatment. Bought it for my dear friend and read it firt so I could be a source of information when she was too preoccupied with treatment. A loving and informative gift for anyone dealing with cancer or for a caregiver. Excellent and quick read.
Excellent frank book about the issues you will face however the last 16 pages of my book were upside down! They obviously goofed when they bound it.
I loved this book it's an easy read "not scary for a cancer patient" from someone's perspective who's had cancer and gets it. It's informative, yet funny and I found when I started reading it I didn't want to put it down. Lots of great information and insight. I would highly recommend especially if your a newly diagnosed patient. The information provided is not scary or overwhelming, where a lot of books about cancer are.
Wonderful book on not only on what to expect when you are diagnosed with breast cancer, but how to take care of yourself while going thru the trwatments. Very much a go-to guide for me. Like the author, I was diagnosed with breast cancer at a young age and turned to this book time and time again during and after chemo and radiation treatments. It also helped me to stay positive during awful times ("silver linings" :-) )
I bought this for my friend that has Breast Cancer, I bought it because I say Caitlin on Dr. Oz, and loved the concept of why she wrote this book. Where it's giving great information and advise without scaring the patient even further.
My daughter, who is recovering from breast cancer, says this book is full of great tips. She feels that her quality of her makeup and skin is more important to her right now.
